Boston StrongLocal Motion of Boston would like to thank the Boston Police, Watertown Police, and all the local police departments, the State Police, federal law enforcement agencies, medical personnel, and all the civilian heroes that responded so quickly and unselfishly to the tragic events of this past week. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families.
We are so proud to serve this city and call Boston our home. Boston strong!
Thank you!

Here’s a shot of a Local Motion bus picking up passengers somewhere in Boston. The question is; Where was this photo taken? Whoever answers correctly gets… well… our heartfelt congratulations and highly coveted title of “Boston Back Street Driver”.

So, where in the world is this bus stopped?

Where in Boston are these passengers boarding this Local Motion coach bus?

Here’s a great picture of a Local Motion motorcoach making a stop at the Boston Harbor Hotel at Rowes Wharf. If you’re not familiar with Boston, the Marina at Rowes Wharf is loaded with all sorts of must-see attractions. From here you can walk along the Harborwalk and jump aboard a sightseeing cruise, go whale watching, or take a duck boat tour of Boston’s historic sights. The New England Aquarium is right next door, along with scores of fantastic restaurants and bars. From here it’s a short walk to the Italian North End, the TD Boston Garden, Faneuil Hall, the USS Constitution (Old Ironsides), Bunker Hill or many other historic sights and buildings. If your coming to Boston be sure to add Rowes Wharf to your itinerary, you might even want to stay at the Boston Harbor Hotel… and we can get you there!

Deluxe Motor Coach waiting for Fenway Park passengers
Driving a group of fans to a sporting event is one of the most common types of ride here at Local Motion. Fenway Park, in particular, is a favorite destinations. Of course, we also ride a good amount of passengers to Gillette Stadium, TD Garden, as well as the many other local sporting venues. What better way for your group to get in-and-out of a big stadium on game day? You don’t have to worry about driving, directions, or parking – and your group can travel together in one of our comfortable motor coaches, buses, or vans!

In addition to the professional sports teams in Boston, we also take great pride in the service we provide the athletic teams of our public and private schools. We have small, medium, and large size school buses that can comfortably ride a small basketball team to the largest football or soccer teams.

Motor Coach takes high school field trip to the Massachusetts State House.
Local Motion does a lot of field trips for local public and private schools. I came across this terrific picture of one of our Motorcoaches in front of the Massachusetts State House. The State House is located on Capitol Hill, in the Beacon Hill section of Boston (adjacent to Boston Common). The building is the home of the Massachusetts General Court (better known as the State Legislature) and the offices of the Governor of Massachusetts, currently Deval Patrick.

Local Motion of Boston works with dozens of public and private schools in the area.  I thought it would be interesting to see where the schools take the kids on daytime field trips.  We provided about 300 field trips in April and here are the places we went multiple times: Big Apple Circus, Boston Children’s Museum, Charles Playhouse, Decordova Museum, Fairway Bowling, Museum of Fine Arts, Museum of Science, New England Aquarium, Peabody Essex Museum, Perkins School for the Blind, Plimouth Plantation, Reggie Lewis Center and Universal Technical Institute.  The winners?  Museum of Fine Arts and Museum of Science – 8 times each!
